The scholars and families at the Community Instructional Center in Doylestown, PA just got one more reason to shine brighter due to a new 21.85 kW solar array installed by Suntricity Power. The array went live this month and will generate 29,751 kW hours over the next twelve months alone. It is comprised of 95 Mage 230-watt modules, each with their own micro-inverter to safely secret the high-voltage DC power to AC electricity. These elements are working to get rid of 41% of the electric bills for the high-school each year. . Center owner Jeffra Nandan enjoys these electrical savings, but she selected solar energy as doing her bit for the environment, “Our mission of kid care and parent support implies that we would like to raise the next generation in a good environment,” she claimed.
Solar helps us do our part to preserve the environment.” . Over the following twenty-five years, the system is anticipated to reduce carbon emissions by 510 tons–about the weight of 110 elephants! . The array is also expected to last decades as a secure investment for the college. “The Mage Panels have a 30-year warranty, and after thirty years, the system will continue to be manufacturing eighty percent of its power,” explained Mark Hald, a Suntricity Power employee. “That means the children who use the center now will be in a position to come back with their own kids and the system will continue to be making clean, replenish-able power.” .
